Out at the lake

On Saturday we drove up to Phoenix and hung out at Canyon Lake with some of Andy's classmates. There aren't too many lakes in Arizona so it was nice to get back on a boat and cool off for a while. There were some massive cliffs that surrounded the larget part of the lake and the channels too. Georgia was invited so you can imagine her excitement when we pulled out her life jacket from the garage. She has never been on a boat before but you couldn't tell...she adapted very quickly :)
The cliffs were HUGE!!

She loved the fact that she had a "diving board" off of the boat :)

I was told this was the Arkansas version of a floatie...it seemed to work quite nicely and didn't make your hips look big either...haha!!
Getting dried off and heading back before sunset
Family photo...awww...

Random

So here are some random photos from the last few weeks:
Here are some of the kiddos in my Pre-K classroom during arts & crafts. It has been fun getting to know each of their "unique" 4 year old personalities and watching them learn. This week we focussed on the Olympics (I wonder why!!) and had them explore new sport activities through projects in and out of the classroom.
Hanging out with Andy's A-10 class for poker/opening Olympic ceremonies night
The gals...and the two newly emerged beautiful babies. (Tyler is also in this photo just disguised as a basketball :) Getting bigger and bigger at 8 months...only 7 weeks left...crazy!!!

30 Weeks and 4D Ultrasound!!

So here I am 7 1/2 months pregnant. I thought I'd be brave and show you an actual belly shot below to get a better idea of how much Tyler is starting to make his protruding appearance! Had a doctor appt today and she said everything looks good. I have been taking iron supplements for the anemia that developed and that has been helping. Apparently I have been measuring 1 week ahead but that doesn't necessarily mean he will be big or I will deliver early. She said typically women who carry all up front tend to measure larger; so I'm hoping that's the case.
Following my doc appt, Andy and I met up to have a 4D ultrasound done. His head was down towards my bladder and but/legs up towards my ribs. It was hard to get a face shot so the doc after 15 minutes took a break and asked me to move around so he would shift positions. I did jumping jacks, mountain climbers, stretches, you name it...well it worked! These are the very brief shots we got of him as he was looking at the camera. Enjoy!!

We think he is praying or just ready for us to stop looking at him :)
